The Director, Marketing will be responsible for contributing to the development of growth strategies and ensuring marketing plans are designed in support of those strategies. This position requires a results-oriented individual who can quickly and effectively respond to the ever-changing needs of the business. The ideal candidate is a rising marketing professional with proven, hands-on experience developing and executing market programs including partner management, event management and campaigns. The position reports to the Senior Director, Integrated Payments Marketing. The main focus of this position is to support growth and new sales by executing structured, impactful marketing programs that drive leads and revenue, and, ultimately, market share. They will work in tandem with the IPS marketing team, management and sales teams to drive channel and business objectives; determine marketing success factors and influence strategy; evaluate revenue and growth opportunities; and work within cross-functional teams as appropriate. Programs may include digital marketing, marketing campaigns, brand and awareness efforts, sales promotions, event management and other standard marketing programs. Primary Duties Execution of effective marketing initiatives: Delivers impactful lead gen campaigns with immediate and measurable ROI. Works to support and deliver on goals, target segments and type of campaign (referral or direct, lead gen, sales contests, etc.). Communicates strategy at the business unit management level and gains buy-in. Works closely with channel leaders to develop value props and campaign concepts; directs the work of external agencies; obtains internal approvals and buy-in; facilitates compliance and legal approvals; communicates campaign to partners and internal stakeholders; engages sales teams; manages and evaluates campaign effectiveness; and creates a feedback loop. Analyzes campaign metrics and makes any necessary adjustments; develops campaign/program dashboard monitoring results; determines revenue contribution; submits for inclusion into canvas reporting - monthly, quarterly, YTD Acts as the marketing liaison in the Ashburn, VA office to ensure marketing consistency and leverages other programs where beneficial Planning and leadership: Executes on marketing strategy to fulfill the business development goals. Works collaboratively with leaders to implement effective marketing programs to drive in-year new business. Proactively brings forward initiatives that could accomplish business goals. Manages project budgets and expenditures within company process. Flexibility, ability to deal under pressure, quick thinking, and a positive attitude are critical for this function. Collaboration and effectiveness: Interfaces with senior-level leaders and management throughout the larger organization in the fulfillment of the organizations business goals. Position is located in Ashburn, Virginia A couple days travel per month **Qualifications:** Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Six or more years of related experience in marketing and marketing strategy with proven ability to deliver results Preferred Skills/Experience Experience as a strategic marketer, but not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get things done Broad general marketing and digital marketing background with substantial B2B and lead generation experience Successful track record in supporting sales teams and a solid understanding of CRM systems such as Salesforce.com Knowledge of golf industry a plus Track record for creating collaboration and buy in from senior level managers Ability to present marketing strategy and programs effectively Ability to generate and deliver innovative programs and ideas Experience in managing agencies and other outside creative and marketing vendors Ability to manage a multitude of priorities, projects and demands Bottom-line accountability for programs with measurable results **Job:** Marketing / Communications **Primary Location:** Virginia-VA-Ashburn **Shift:** 1st - Daytime **Average Hours Per Week:** 40 **Requisition ID:** 180043593 U.S. Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.
