Position description
Primarily responsible for audit fieldwork activities, including interviews/walkthroughs, risk and control analysis, testing, and documentation. Possesses the knowledge and demonstrates use of audit strategies, methodologies, and tools. Interprets and applies industry, accounting, regulatory, and internal audit standards. Works collaboratively in a team structure on multi-disciplinary projects, leveraging project management skills/tools. Displays a solution-oriented approach and sense of commitment to getting results and completing project assignments, effectively handling multiple ambiguous activities at one time. Proactively identifies and communicates problems and opportunities; seeks input and participates in implementing solutions or process improvements. Seeks relevant information to use in problem-solving and decision-making. Communicates and presents information effectively to various audiences, while simultaneously building credibility, rapport, and solid relationship. Demonstrates professional written communication skills. Travel of 20 to 25% may be required, as work activities warrant.
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in accounting, finance, criminal justice, or applicable field required and 2 years audit,investigation, or forensics experience or 3 years of finance experience (finance experience can include accounting, supply chain management, or revenue cycle). Certification (CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CCSA, CFE, CRISC or PMP) can be substituted for 1 year of applicable experience.
Additional qualifications
Additional Experience and/or Qualifications: Certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA) or willingness to work towards certification preferred. Two-four years of auditing experience (e.g. Public Accounting, Internal Audit, Sarbanes Oxley, Quality Assurance) preferred. Prior public accounting experience with national or regional firm considered a plus. Desktop computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required. Experience with Microsoft Access, ACL, IDEA, Arbutus, or other data analysis tools preferred.

Compensation Detail
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.  The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $2,372.80, based on a full-time position.
