The primary responsibilities of this position are the preparation and review of the company’s public financial filings and researching and documenting technical accounting positions. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a dynamic environment, managing several competing projects, and being part of a team. The ideal candidate is looking to progressively take on additional responsibilities and possesses superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. This position will report to the Director of External Reporting.

**A Day in the Life:**

+ Prepare and review public financial filings (10-Qs, 10-Ks, and 11-Ks) and annual Irish Statutory Accounts

+ Assist in the annual audit and quarterly review process

+ Conduct and document accounting research of complex, non-routine accounting transactions to conclude on the appropriate application of U.S. GAAP

+ Provide guidance to Group and Geography finance organizations on the application of Company finance policy and U.S. GAAP

+ Identify appropriate risks and challenges to address through process improvements

+ Prepare and review audit committee materials

+ Lead and drive continuous improvement of the worldwide finance policy manual including the creation of new policies

+ Review analysis and disclosures and provide meaningful feedback to preparers

+ Lead other special projects as assigned by management, including implementation of process improvements

+ Effectively work with all levels of management, including senior level executives

+ Proactively partner with a variety of business and functional partners to provide financial support

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements:**


+ Bachelor’s Degree - Accounting or Finance Major


+ 7+ years of Accounting or Finance experience with a Bachelor’s Degree; or, 5+ years of Accounting or Finance experience with a Master’s Degree

**Nice to Have:**

+ Certified Public Accountant

+ Big 4 public accounting experience

+ Strong technical accounting and analytical skills, including experience in writing accounting memos and position papers

+ SEC reporting experience

+ Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

+ Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

+ Experience using ERP accounting system

+ Sound judgment and high ethical standards

+ Strong work ethic and desire to learn

+ Detail and results oriented

+ Experience with implementation of new accounting standards

+ Excellent time management and project management skills

+ A proactive self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time
